Welcome to my Web site! Welcome to Star Island Bulldogs. After completed my Veterinarian career in 1984, I found out my passion for different dog breeding as well as the importance to have a good looking and healthy dog, so I started breeding dogs and showing them. In 1993 I fall in loved with American Bulldogs and Star Island Kennel was born. Since then we have expanded the knowledge and understanding of this dogs. We bread predominately JDJ medium to large dogs. American Bulldogs excel in health, athleticism and temperament let the owner works with them. I certainly would like all the dogs born in my yard to look like one, since I truly believe that maintaining the genetic consistency is what makes the difference. Personally I consider that the perfect bully American Bulldogs female is between 80-95 pounds and a nice male flanked by 90-115 pounds. It is more important the temperament and willingness to do well in whatever you ask them to do, than the weight. It is extremely vital to me to preserve as much as possible JDJ line in my dogs. Our goal is to produce the best feasible American Bulldogs we can, with God help of course. We strive for awesome temperaments, high drive and spirit, gentleness and definitely the ability to protect my family when necessary. I hope you enjoy my site as well as my dogs. God Bless America!
